Native Families for Native Children: Recruiting and Training Resource Families in Nebraska
Learn how tribes in Nebraska have successfully engaged and recruited Native resource families. Presenters will highlight work from Native Families for Native Children (NF4NC), a Diligent Recruitment Grant from the Children’s Bureau that focused on tribal-state collaborative recruitment efforts and the testing of a foster parent training curriculum – the Trauma-Informed Partnering for Safety and Permanence-Model Approach to Partnership in Parenting: Native American Version (TIPS-MAPP:NA).
